Will Millionaire Matchmaker Get a Facelift?

Aug 15, 2013

Patti Stanger, better known as the Millionaire Matchmaker, is no stanger to the spotlight. But since appearing in the first season on the Millionaire Matchmaker show on Bravo in 2008, Stanger has known that she is not getting any younger. The signs of age and the stress of her career have taken a toll on her, as they would with anyone in their 40s, and she opted for plastic surgery.

But unlike many celebrities in Hollywood, Stanger is not one to shy away from the fact that shes had some work done and is proud to admit her plastic surgery history.

Were all getting plastic surgeryYeah, Im proud of it, because were all doing it, said Stanger.

A few years ago, Stanger underwent a breast reduction and lift and was extremely happy with the results. However, when her 7-year relationship with Andy Friedman, a real-estate executive, ended in 2010, the matchmaker started to feel self-conscious again, especially when it came to the dating scene.

Now in her 50s, Stanger wasnt finding it as easy to find love for herself as it was for her clients, and her self-esteem began to fall. But after a year of struggling, Stanger decided it was time to take matters into her hands, or rather, into the hands of her plastic surgeon.

Back in 2011, Stanger opted for a second breast reduction and lift and an eyelift as well, which she claims transformed her life for the better. Although what she really initially wanted was facelift, her surgeon recommended against it.

Does that mean Stanger wont opt for one in the coming years? Knowing her positive attitude about plastic surgery, she may very well get a facelift before turning 60.

Stanger does not look a day over 30 and with her new-found confidence, she radiates youth and beauty.

Now, Stanger is happily dating mortgage broker David Krause, whom she actually met on a dating site. The results of her eyelift surgery were better than she thought, when Krause paid her the ultimate compliment and said she looked younger than her real age.

Its not surprising that Stanger would look much younger than her age following her eyelift, given the fact that the face can show either signs of aging or youth and vigor. When it comes to patients who are looking for a rejuvenating procedure, eye, brow and face lifts are often the top choice. Facial surgery can eliminate wrinkles and fine lines as well as loose skin, taking years off of the patient. Younger patients may wish to start off with an eyelift, like Stanger, and may later want to upgrade to the full facelift. But no matter what the age of the patient, the results are life changing.
